Our Philosophy

We focus on what moves your rating.

A lot of academies will promise you grandmaster status overnight, or hand you a syllabus so dense in theory you’ll never use half of it in a real match.

We do things differently. We speak your language, keep lessons straightforward, and focus purely on the strategies that turn into real wins on the board — not just impressive answers in a classroom.

Every plan starts with a diagnostic: we watch you play, find where you lose games, and build backward from there. No fixed curriculum, no recycled slides — just a plan built around your blind spots.

Four ways we train you —
pick what your game needs.

Most students combine two or more as their rating climbs.

01 / Private Coaching

One-on-one sessions

Tailored to your exact skill level. We identify your blind spots and build a practical roadmap to elevate your rating, session by session.

1:1 Format 60-90 Min

02 / Group Workshops

Collaborative learning

Analyze master games, practice common endgames, and test strategies against peers in a focused small-group setting.

Max 6 Students Weekly

03 / Tournament Prep

Competition-ready training

Build a solid opening repertoire, learn to manage your clock under pressure, and train specifically for the format you’re entering.

Intensive 2-4 Weeks Out

04 / Game Analysis

In-depth match reviews

We break down your critical blunders and missed opportunities, move by move, so you never make the same mistake twice.

Why Queensight

Most academies teach chess.
We build match-ready minds.

The difference shows up on the scoreboard, not the syllabus. Here’s what separates a Queensight player from the rest of the field.

Coaches rated 1700+

Every coach on our roster competes above 1700 themselves — many well into the 1800s and 1900s. You’re learning from active, rated players, not retired theory.

Minimum bar: 1700 rating to teach here

Built around your blind spots

No fixed curriculum applied to everyone. We diagnose where you actually lose games, then build a plan around closing that specific gap. Progress gets reviewed every session, so nothing sits unaddressed for weeks.

Plans rebuilt every 4 weeks

Tournament-tested methods

What we teach has been used by our own coaches in competitive play — not lifted from a textbook. If it doesn’t hold up over the board, we don’t teach it.

Real games, not just puzzles

Who We Coach

A program built for every kind of player.

From a toddler’s first checkmate to an adult’s first tournament — we shape every session around who’s actually sitting across the board.

Hobby Explorers

Curious beginners trying chess for the first time — no pressure to compete, just a fun, low-stakes way to learn the game properly.

Fun-Loving Kids

Energetic, game-first lessons for kids who want to play and laugh, not sit through theory — chess that feels like play, not homework.
